J1 | KE1 – ATEX approved EExd fan assisted unit heaters


APPLICATION

KE1 heaters can be installed where potentially explosive gases may be present. They are suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas and for gas groups 11A and 11B.

They must be mounted horizontally and operated where the ambient temperature does not exceed 40°C. The heaters are stamped T3 and can be used in areas designated T1, T2, or T3. KE1 heaters are widely used in installations such as oil refineries, waste water treatment plants and paint storage areas.
